The Getaway

Four twenty-somethings. One remote cottage. A weekend meant for escape - until love unravels, betrayals surface and new desires ignite. Linda and Alec’s long-term relationship is crumbling, while Abbey and Jamie find themselves drawn to each other in the chaos. In the suffering intimacy of the getaway, secrets spill, old wounds resurface, friendships fracture and the past refuses to stay buried. As passion and control collide, tensions reach a breaking point. In this captivating piece of new writing by Denisa Dobrovodova, there is nowhere to hide, as emotions spiral and the weekend getaway turns into a battleground of passion, jealousy, and revelation. Some relationships will shatter, others will form - but by the end of the weekend, nothing will ever be the same.
