Denisa started her career in journalism in her hometown of Bratislava, Slovakia.
In 2019, during her academic gap year, she worked as a full-time journalist for aktuality.sk, a premier Slovak news outlet. Her articles focused mainly on fashion, arts, feminism and history.
In addition to writing, Denisa's work responsibilities included attendance at various fashion and film events, including fashion shows and movie premieres in Slovakia and the Czech Republic. Denisa was required to report on the course of events and interview celebrities, artists and designers.

Her Campus
After accepting an offer to pursue an undergraduate degree at the University of St Andrews in 2021, Denisa became involved with the St Andrews Chapter of Her Campus Media, an international media company headquartered in Boston, USA. Having started as a writer, Denisa quickly progressed and took on the role of Editorial Assistant.
In April 2022, she became the Editor-in-Chief of Her Campus St Andrews and managed a team of over 40 members. In March 2023, Denisa continued her affiliation with Her Campus Media and became a Content Strategy Fellow with the organisation. During this time, Denisa was in charge of overseeing and tracking the editorial and social media content of 60+ chapters in the Her Campus Chapter Network, in both the United States and Great Britain.
